Tutorial Co-chairs

The goal of the DASFAA 2011 Tutorial is to offer conference attendees and local participants insightful and latest knowledge in database systems & WWW technologies. Tutorials whose audience is border than the database research community are encouraged. We also welcome proposals on other topics of special interest and relevance at the time of DASFAA 2011.

Instructions for Submissions:

A submitted proposal, which has to be no more than 5 pages, must provide a sense of both the scope of the tutorial and depth within the scope. Please include the main learning outcomes, the intended length of the tutorial (1.5 or 3 hours), and the justification that a high-quality presentation will be achieved within the chosen time period. Proposals that extend any previous tutorials of the presenters should state where the related tutorials have been given, and the differences made for DASFAA 2011.

Proposals must be submitted via email to tutorial co-chairs at dasfaa2011tutorial@gmail.com by November 20, 2010. After acceptance, a one-page tutorial summary will be published on conference proceedings, and the tutorial slides will be made available on the conference website.

Each tutorial proposal should include the following:

- tutorial title;
- contact information of the presenters: names, affiliations, addresses, emails, telephone numbers, and fax numbers; and
- brief biographies of the presenters.

The acceptance decision of the proposals will be notified by the Tutorial Co-Chairs by December 20, 2010.
