The 2008-09 Policy Address of the Chief Executive of the HKSAR and the ‘Final Report’ by the government appointed ‘Working Group on Textbooks and e-Learning Resources Development’ have set the stage for the development of e-Learning in Hong Kong.

What is e-Learning?
e-Learning makes full use of IT and multimedia technologies to create an alternative learning environment to the traditional classroom, and provides better means to meet the aims of the new curriculum for Hong Kong’s schools.

Responsibilities

Contribute to the development of our e-Learning resources and associated systems in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology and engage in consulting with partner schools.

Requirements

• A PhD degree in Mathematics or the Basic Sciences or a related discipline such as Engineering etc.;
• A desire to provide a better alternative to the traditional classroom teaching approach;
• Excellent written and spoken Chinese( Chinese is the language of communication);
• Excellent graphic presentation skills
