| IBM Centennial Lecture – Reinventing the Modern Corporation
IBM is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year, and was recently highlighted by the Economist Magazine as a corporation creating the future model for the global enterprise. Despite the financial tsunami, IBM has continued to deliver increased earnings per share for its shareholders. IBM’s current success is based on a longer term transformation journey involving every aspect of the corporation -its people, its processes, its mix of services and products and its culture. And the journey continues to unfold ahead of the Corporation as it prepares for the years ahead. Steven Davidson will describe the drivers and major elements of this transformation and discuss some of the themes driving the next stage of IBM’s transformation. Speaker: Steven DavidsonPartner Steven Davidson is the Partner leading IBM’s Strategy and Transformation consulting practice for Greater China. Originally from the UK, Steven has lived in Asia for 14 years. Based in Hong Kong, Steven led the integration of PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting in HK into IBM from 2002 to 2005, and then led IBM’s Strategy consulting practice across the Growth Markets, including Asia Pacific until 2009. As the leader of IBM’s Strategy and Transformation practice in Greater China, Steven now leads IBM’s business consulting teams delivering Strategy, CRM, Supply Chain, Human Capital and Financial Management consulting services to clients, integrating these services to support clients’ ambitious transformation agendas.
