Speaker Profile for Stephen Cheng

  • Mr. Cheng is currently the Director of Professional Services at Navis, a California based software vendor providing supply chain solution for major marine terminals worldwide.  Mr. Cheng is responsible for P&L (Profit and Loss), operation, service delivery and support for all professional services in Asia Pacific region.
  • Mr. Cheng has 30 years of working experience in the IT industry and  employed by major IT vendors (HP, Amdocs, Oracle) to provide mission critical solutions worldwide: SwissCom (Switzerland), Yahoo Broadband (Japan), China Mobile (Beijing and Shanghai), SmarTone, HSBC (Hong Kong).
  • Mr. Cheng has over 15 years of worldwide Pre-sales, Technical Consulting and Project Delivery experience in Asia and Europe and  over 10 years of advanced software development and senior management in the US in areas of financial systems, networking, artificial intelligence and manufacturing.

Ideal candidates have traveled, worked or lived extensively abroad.  Must be willing to travel and/or relocate internationally. Fluency in more than one language is a plus.  International students encouraged to apply.

The Navis Project Consultant performs system implementation tasks for implementation consulting projects.  Determines business and technology requirements in terms of operational processes and technology. Works as part of a team providing technical solutions for the implementation of Navis Products.
