Paul Lauterbur Research Centre for Biomedical Imaging is an R&D Centre under Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technologies. The centre develops state-of-the-arts Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) equipment for China.

1. Presentation by Prof. Y.C. Chung (SIAT)

• Briefing on MRI market and status of development worldwide as well as in China
• Technical challenges in MRI development
• MRI and Medical Imaging Development projects at SIAT

2. Tour the medical imaging facilities at SIAT (laboratories for developing hardware and software of: MRI systems, Computed Tomography systems, and ultra-sound imaging systems)

All undergraduate or postgraduate Engineering students are welcome even not applying for the jobs.  Admitted students will be notified by separate email.
