Career Opportunities
1) Engineering Graduate Trainees

Successful applicants will go through a 4-year programme, run in conjunction with our partner companies, pathing the way to achieving membership under Scheme “A” of Hong Kong Institution of Engineers.  The programme consists of formal courses and extensive on-the-job training in different departments for all-round exposure.

Programme Content :
1st and 2nd Year – HKIE Scheme A Training

  • Formal multi-disciplinary training
  • Soft skills and management training
  • On-the-job training in various departments
  • Continuous Professional Development activities

3rd & 4th Year – Career Directed Experience

  • Work in one of the departments at HAESL
  • Secondment to our partner companies, e.g. Cathay Pacific Airways and Rolls-Royce in the UK

To respond to the demand of this training partnership, applicants should meet the following requirements:

  • Recent honours graduates, preferably in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or related discipline
  • Highly organised with self-motivation and commitment
  • Strong interpersonal skills to contribute in a team environment
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Fluent communication in English and Chinese

2) Graduate Trainees, General Stream
