(OEPA).

JEC Outstanding Engineering Project Award (OEPA)

was first launched in Hong Kong in September 2005. Over the

last five years, students from local universities have participated

actively in the competition. The past winning topics were

“Towards Optimized Integrated Building Facility Management

and Control” in 2005-2006, “Energy Conserved Water Heating

System” in 2006-2007, “Economy Class Syndrome Improvement

Tool” in 2007-2008, “Smart Home Living” in 2008-2009 and

“Wearable Robotic System for Active Muscle and Joint Training”

in 2009-2010.

This year, we continue to welcome both full-time undergraduate

and post-graduate students in the engineering field to participate

in the competition. Students can form inter-discipline groups or

join members of other universities to participate.

Gold Award: HK$55,000
Silver Award: HK$30,000
Bronze Award: HK$15,000
* Outstanding student may be considered for job interview
** Any project previously won are restricted in this Award

Eligibility:
Full-time undergraduate or post-graduate students of local

universities in any engineering discipline, such as follows, to form

a team of 2-5 students to join:

• Manufacturing Engineering and Engineering Management
• Electrical Engineering
• Physics & Material Science
• Electronic Engineering
• Mechanical and Automation Engineering
• Electronic and Computer Engineering
