About the Programs

This year, Microsoft is going to bring students in Hong Kong two exciting and rewarding programs, namely Microsoft Student Partners and Imagine Cup.

Microsoft Student Partners is a Program has been developed since 2001 with 3,000 student partners from over 100 countries. From past experience, students who have partnered with Microsoft would be able to see an accelerated personal growth, and were able to seize amazing career opportunities. Throughout the partnership, students will receive trainings on the usage of the latest technologies, so to give them a set of skills advantages in Marketing & IT realms.

Imagine Cup is a global student technology competition which can help students to challenge both their entrepreneurship and technical skills. It is an excellent opportunity for students who aim to own their business in their early career to test their startup ideas. Students will first compete locally in Hong Kong for a cash award of HK$20,000, while the winners will have chance to further compete in Seattle for another cash award of US$50,000, and have their flights and accommodation covered by Microsoft.
