CINTEC held 23 recruitment talks in 2 months
In October and November, beginning of first term, CINTEC held 23 recruitment talks. Amongst these talks, there were many big names of international enterprises, like Google, Microsoft, Cathay Pacific, Jardine, Lenovo, you may want to know that a full house of 160 students attended the Google recruitment talk.

Every year, CINTEC coordinates University research teams to showcase applied R&D results at public technology exhibitions. In October and November, CINTEC organized three of them.

CONFERENCE
ACM (RECSYS) 2013 with 400 participants
CINTEC has supported Prof Irwin King to host the ACM (RECSYS) 2013 conference, held on October 12-16, 2013, on CUHK campus. CINTEC provided comprehensive logistics services, from event preparation to onsite support to ensuring smooth and professional delivery of the international conference. Around 400 scientists, scholars and researchers worldwide came to CUHK campus to attend this event.
ER Conference 2013 with 200 participants
CINTEC has supported Prof HF Leung to host the ER Conference 2013, held on November 11-14, 2013, at Regal River side Hotel.
INDUSTRIAL VISIT
IoT workshop for Federation of Hong Kong Industries members
CINTEC arranged an Internet-of-Things (IoT) workshop on 17 October 2013 for Federation of Hong Kong Industries members. Two projects were presented to them, they were ‘Network Coding Enabled P2P’ from Institute of Network Coding, and ‘RFID’ from Department of SEEM.
