Key Speaker Profile:

Beresini is an experienced manager, investor and entrepreneur. In 1997, she co-founded invencor, inc., based in the San Francisco Bay Area and has since served as its CEO.  Invencor manages both debt and equity funds, provides mentoring and educational programs for venture and private equity investors, consults with entrepreneurial management teams to grow companies and  works with lending institutions that focus on emerging growth companies.  Beresini works with emerging growth companies across industries-healthcare, life science, and consumer-helping the management teams develop strategies to build sustainable companies. In 2013, she was named one of the “100 Most Influential Women in Silicon Valley” by the Silicon Valley Business Journal.

Advancing CUHK Entrepreneurship Hub (ACE Hub) is a university-wide entrepreneurship initiative launched in May 2013, to serve all CUHK faculty members, students and alumni, and systematically advancing them in various entrepreneurial venturing processes, from idea, startup to the growth stage. It will marshals efforts of different units at CUHK, namely the Center for Entrepreneurship (CfE), Centre for Innovation and Technology (CINTEC), and the Knowledge Transfer Office (KTO), to create and deliver Entrepreneurial Toolkit and Training Workshops through the Business Advisory Service, matching them with Investment Opportunities. Also, ACE Hub will adopt collaboration strategies to connect Regional Resources and university program in pursuing our core services.
