CUHK Open Innovation Network (collectively referred to as "COIN" or "We") undertakes, in its data management policies and practices, to observe the spirit of the data protection principles and to comply with the requirements of the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance.

• We may conduct direct marketing via email, direct mail, telephone and other means of communication, or send e-newsletters to you. You may choose not to receive promotional materials, by simply telling us, and we will cease to do so, without charge.

Your personal data will be kept by us confidentially, but we may provide information to:

• personnel, agents, advisers and service providers in connection with our operations or services

• other CUHK units, our partners and counterparts

• persons to whom we are required to make disclosure under applicable laws in or outside Hong Kong
