- Zensis Ltd was established in January 2004. It is a CUHK spin-off based on the PhotoRite technology, a lightweight real time photo editing software. The technology has filed for China patent.
- WISERS Information Ltd. was established in September 1998. It is a CUHK technology spin-off based on the IPOC search engine developed by my research team. The company was valued at US$13 million in Summer 2002 with over 70 staff in 4 cities (see http://www.wisers.com).
- iCAT is a software system designed for creativity test. It has been used in 15 local schools for assessing the creativity of their students in 2002
- CORA is a software system designed for automatic open-ended questionnaire analysis. It has been used to analyse the commentary of Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) and was one of the finalists in the 2001 Ignite Asia Business Plan Competition (Hong Kong). (see http://www.cintec.cuhk.edu.hk/cora)
- ECILIN is a web-based Chinese thesaurus. It is prototype from a collaborative research product between CUHK and Commercial Press. ECILIN is now publicly accessible from the Internet (see http://www.se.cuhk.edu.hk/~nlp)
